A wireframe cockpit made civilian flight explorable.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 1.0

Bruce Artwick’s simulation placed players inside a sparse black-and-white cockpit with a coherent world governed by instruments and aerodynamics. Meigs Field became its recurring departure point.
